Iolani Palace Kama’aina and Active Military Sundays
Once a month, the Palace offers complimentary tickets to kamaaina guests. Local visitors may choose from the Guided Tour or Self-Led Audio Tour. Tickets are available on a first-come, first served basis.
Guided tours: 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Audio tours: 12 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Last ticket sold at 3:45 p.m.
A Hawaii state ID, Hawaii driver’s license, or Active Military Identification is required to receive complimentary tickets. Malihini (visitors) may purchase tickets at the regular price.

Hapalua Half Marathon
Organized by the Honolulu Marathon Association, the event is expected to draw more than 10,000 runners. The start of the Hapalua is by The Duke Kahanamoku Statue in Waikiki and finishes in Kapiolani Park. Both walkers and runners are welcome.

Iolani School Fair
Enjoy a weekend of fun for the whole family at the ‘Iolani School Fair, themed “Barnyard Bash.” The fair offers something for everyone—games, rides, crafts, keiki activities, and delicious food. Themed culinary creations, live chef demonstrations, and gourmet food booths are sure to satisfy any appetite.
Admission to the fair is free. Parking is available at Kaimukī High School for a flat rate.
